The CIEH Certificate in Risk Assessment
Principles and Practice course is normally delivered over 1 day (7
hours). It covers a defined syllabus designed for those with
responsibility for conducting risk assessments at work.
The course is ideal for personnel with responsibility
for the following jobs and functions:-

Owners
and managers of small to medium sized enterprises;

Supervisors
and team leaders;
-
Technicians and engineers and others
contributing to the risk assessment process.

Candidates are assessed at the end of the course by a
risk assessment study on a suitable workplace activity and completion of
a candidate self evaluation form. Those
passing the assessment receive a nationally recognised certificate a leading
provider of health and safety qualifications.
Successful completion of the course, assignment and
self evaluation
will enable candidates to:-

contribute to the risk assessment programmes at their workplace;

conduct
risk assessments;
-
participate
in the identification of specific training needs for the activities
being assessed;

assist
employers in meeting legal requirements and promote improved standards
of health and safety within their organisation.
