environmental awareness certificate

The CIEH Environmental Awareness Certificate is normally delivered over 1 day (6 hours) and covers a defined syllabus designed for staff at all levels to raise awareness of environmental issues, particularly in the workplace.

Successful completion of the training will enable participants to:-

• identify, define and explain relevant environmental issues;

• identify, define and explain the environmental aspects and effects of organisations;

• understand simple measures that can be implemented to reduce the environmental effects of organisations;

• understand the business and community benefits of environmental management;

• understand the principles and importance of environmental legislation and the authorities responsible for its enforcement.

Candidates are assessed at the end of the course by an objective test of 30 multi-choice questions - those passing the test receive a nationally recognised certificate from a leading provider of  environmental protection qualifications. All of our tutors are fully qualified and have a strong teaching background.
